Why exfoliate?

As we age the process of cell turnover slows down. Cells pile up unevenly on the skin’s surface, giving it a dry, rough dull appearance. Exfoliation is important because it removes the cells clinging on, revealing the fresher, younger skin cells below. New fresh skin allows for skin care products to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin.

How often should I have a facial treatment?

Ideally facial treatments are recommended every 4-6 weeks because that is how long it takes the skin to regenerate. Or at minimum, try to have a facial treatment at least 4 times a year, as the season changes. You may need it more frequently if trying to clear up acne.
